DataFlow Solutions is a leading data analytics company helping businesses make data-driven decisions. We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to build and maintain our data infrastructure.

The Role

Join our data engineering team to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines that power analytics and machine learning applications across our platform.

Required Skills

Technical Requirements

3+ years of experience in data engineering
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools
Experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed computing frameworks
Understanding of data modeling and schema design
Proficiency with version control (Git)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with focus on data quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
German language skills (B1 level or higher)

Key Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure

Design and implement scalable data pipelines
Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes
Optimize query performance and data processing workflows
Ensure data quality and integrity across systems

Collaboration

Work closely with data scientists and analysts
Collaborate with software engineers on data integrations
Document data architectures and processes
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Innovation

Evaluate and recommend new data technologies
Implement best practices for data engineering
Automate repetitive data tasks
Monitor and improve system performance

What We Offer

Salary: €55,000 - €75,000 based on experience
Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
